The pregnant star, who attended the star-studded ceremony alongside her Strictly Come Dancing pro beau Gorka Marquez, 28, on Wednesday night, spilled all about meeting Prince Charles, 70, on Hits Radio the following morning. Gemma Atkinson, 34, said she had grown nervous while waiting to be introduced to the royal, saying: “He came round and I was watching everyone and suddenly I started panicking because I realised I was the only one in the group with a baby bump. I clocked all of the other girls and a lot of them had wedding rings on and stuff,” she laughed. “I was thinking, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, I’m having a child out of wedlock — he’s going to judge me!”

Gemma, who is expecting her first child with Gorka later this year, explained she had tried to fake being engaged to the Spanish dancer by putting a ring on her left ring finger.
“I started trying to get a ring off my right hand to put on my left hand but ‘cos my hands were so clammy I was struggling,” she said, much to the amusement of her Hits Radio co-hosts.
“Anyway I quickly changed the ring finger, I was like okay…
“And then he came and the lady said, ‘This is Gemma from Hits Radio,’” Gemma recalled. “He said, ‘Ah, Hits Radio, yes, up in Manchester.’
