Denise (played by Diane Parish) hasn’t had much luck with her career on EastEnders in recent years.
The character has fought to get somewhere in her work life by going for countless interviews and attempting various new business ventures.
But unfortunately, Denise has struggled to get any success and realising enough is enough, she will embark on a new mission to start up her own company.
After some careful thought and research, a delighted Denise decides to go for it and open up her own salon in Walford, where it will inevitably thrive.
Sadly ex-crook Mitch (Roger Griffiths) finds out about Denise’s plans and decides he wants to get a piece of the action.
Is he going to try and steal the business for himself when Denise finally gets it underway on the BBC soap?
The storyline kicks off as Mitch is desperate to impress and provide for his daughter Bailey, who has asked for a new pair of football boots.
Mitch then does a job for Denise as a favour, which quickly ends badly as the father-of-three learns he’s missed out on an opportunity to do some paid work.
