While Joe (played by Ned Porteous) was killed in tragic scenes on Emmerdale in October last year, his presence is still keenly felt around the village.
Despite a rocky start on the ITV soap, the millionaire businessman eventually struck up a strong bond with his half brother Noah (Jack Downham).
The pair continued to spend more and more time together, and Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) managed to forgive Joe for trying to fleece her family.
Just as it seemed Joe couldn’t be happier, villainous Kim Tate (Claire King) ordered her lackey Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) to murder him, and things spiralled out of control.
