Dan Walker jokes about co-star’s nipples live on air

The BBC Breakfast host, 41, was among stars including Dani Dyer, 23, who embarked on the gruelling challenge of trekking up Kilimanjaro in aid of Comic Relief last month. At one point during their climb, Love Island winner Dani was overwhelmed by the physical strain as they entered into freezing climes, sobbing: “I’ve never, ever been this cold. My nipples are so hard it hurts.” On the show tonight, the whole group came back together to join presenters Zoe Ball, 48, and David Tennant, 47, to find out how much they had raised through their efforts.

“You really felt the altitude, you cried,” Zoe addressed Dan Walker, recalling the moment she checked in with the star on her BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show.

“Did I?” Dan laughed. “I can’t remember it.”

“Yes, you all cried,” Zoe replied. “How did you push on through?”

“Do you know what? It genuinely is down to the people on stage and Anita [Rani] and Shirley [Ballas] and Osi [Umenyiora] as well,” Dan explained.
