The reported feud between wives royal Meghan Markle and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, has now bled into the once-tight relationship between William and Harry, it has been sensationally claimed. Dan Wootton, the Sun's executive editor said tensions between the two dukes has got so bad they "cannot even stomach keeping their charitable projects together as they separate their households".
He claims William has been keen to show up at joint events before his 34-year-old brother in a bid to control the flood of media stories about the Royal Family.
The 37-year-old does so to take a more serious approach and steer the stories "away from gimmicks", he said.
Mr Wootton wrote: "Many want to believe the bond between the two lads who grew up in the brutal spotlight of their mother’s death is unbreakable, which is the case when taking the big picture into account.
"But a gulf has developed between them since Meghan empowered Harry to be the new-age celebrity royal he’s tried to become for years.
