The Umbrella Academy on Netflix introduced viewers to the seven children adopted by alien-turned-billionaire Sir Reginald Hargreeves (played by Colm Feore) in season one. Now, with The Umbrella Academy season two heavily tipped to be on its way, fans think one of the other children born on the same day as the Academy could appear, Number Eight. The Umbrella Academy season two spoilers are being kept well under wraps but one fan’s theory suggests Number Eight could appear.
Netflix viewers were told there were 36 other children born on the same day as the seven which make up the Academy.
None of the 36 appear in the Netflix series but one fan has spotted a hint at an eighth member in the Gerard Way-written comic books.

Taking to online forum Reddit, one The Umbrella Academy fan wrote: “As for the children, Reginald could only locate seven of them.”
The fan’s theory continues: “I think an eighth one was hinted at in volume three.
“And (they) play a bigger role in volume three currently being made.”
