Debbie (played by Charley Webb) has been dealing with her grief on Emmerdale ever since the devastating revelation came from her father Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) he’d accidentally killed millionaire businessman Joe (Ned Porteous).
The father and daughter have been at odds ever since on the ITV soap, despite Cain’s desperate attempts to win his daughter back.
But now things are set to take an unbelievable twist in the Yorkshire Dales when it is reportedly revealed Joe is actually alive and well.
And what’s more, for fear of being in trouble with Kim Tate (Claire King), Joe has simply been living it up in the sunshine abroad, according to reports - under the radar with the help of his godfather and old friend Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough).
Unpredictable mechanic Debbie has turned numb in the aftermath of Joe’s apparent death, as despite weeks of begging from her father to give him her forgiveness, the mother-of-two has discarded any remaining loyalty to Cain.
This was proved by the latest storyline with Amy Wyatt’s (Natalie Ann Jamieson) return to the soap.
But Joe should be scared, as Debbie’s anger will undoubtedly be transferred to her ex-love very quickly when she discovers he’s been lying to her all this time.
