It comes after the EastEnders character made a sudden exit from the soap a couple of months ago.
Robbie’s (played by Dean Gaffney) last appearance saw Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ) give him £500 so he could go and visit his son in India.
Since Robbie’s been out of the way, Stuart has been able to get close to Dot Branning (June Brown) as her lodger on the BBC soap.
But Stuart might be put out to know that Robbie is coming back from his travels as the actor behind the role has confirmed a return.
Dean told Daily Star: "He's gone to right some wrongs, cross some T's and dot some I's.
"When he comes back, which is not too long now, is he alone, has he found love?"
Robbie first left the programme in 2003 after getting together with Nita Mistry (Bindya Solanki) and moving with her and her son Anish (Ali Zahoor) to Mumbai.
The pair later had Sami together before splitting with Robbie moving back to the UK.
