Emmerdale viewers are convinced Joe Tate (played by Ned Porteous) could be returning to the ITV soap soon. Kim Tate (Claire King) made her comeback on Emmerdale earlier this month and instantly brought the topic of Joe’s death up with Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough). Joe Tate’s return is yet to be officially confirmed by ITV or Emmerdale bosses.
Emmerdale’s rumour mill has been sent into overdrive, however, with speculation suggesting he will make a comeback.
It’s been reported Joe could return after hiding away in Monte Carlo since his supposed death in October.
Graham has reportedly helped with the Emmerdale character’s disappearance, according to one soap insider.

Speaking to The Sun, one source said: “Everyone was convinced he died in October. But he has been alive all this time and secretly living abroad with Graham’s help.
“Unsurprisingly, it comes as a huge shock to the rest of the village and Cain (Jeff Hordley) in particular will be stunned.
“He’s been living with the belief he murdered Joe, with Debbie Dingle blaming him for her loss.”
