Proven Innocent will start tonight (Monday, March 18) at 9pm on UniversalTV after airing on Fox a few weeks ago. The Fox series, which stars Kelsey Grammer is filmed and set in Chicago, with filming taking place in locations across the city. Chicago was hit with sub-zero temperatures earlier this year, however, which halted filming on Proven Innocent.
Proven Innocent is set in Chicago, Illinois in the USA.
The Fox series revolves around a law firm, the Injustice Defense Group, that focuses on reversing wrongful convictions.
According to RogerEbert.com, the firm is based on the real-life Innocence Project, based just outside of Chicago.
Proven Innocent creator Danny Strong said of Chicago to the Sun Times: “I love the look of the city. I love the architecture of the city. I think visually it’s really a terrific-looking town.”
