Tesla Model 3 variants are getting faster and more range (Image: TESLA) Tesla is beginning to increase the power of all Model 3 vehicles it sells via a software update. This follows the announcement last week that it would also be boosting the range of certain models in the line-up making the car overall more capable. The carmaker has made a number of changes to the Model 3 as of late, most notably being the introduction of the entry-level $35,000 vehicle. Range has even increased in specific model by 15 miles from 310 miles to 325-miles. This update is being gradually rolled out across Model 3 owner’s vehicles. All vehicles in the range are expected to see their car’s peak power increase with the latest software update too. “Your vehicle’s peak power has been increased by approximately 5%, improving acceleration and Performance,” the firm road in the release notes. Last week the carmaker released the Model 3 based SUV the Model Y which features a modified rear-end, more space inside and a higher driving position.
