That is what Game of Thrones fans on Reddit are suggesting after looking at Tyrion (played by Peter Dinklage) and his deceased father Tywin Lannister’s (Charles Dance) relationship.
They believe that Tyrion is becoming more and more like his father and finally living up to his father’s expectations of him as a son and putting family first.
Tywin was fiercely loyal to his family and married his first cousin Joanna Lannister and had three children with her: Cersei (Lena Headey), Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Tyrion.
Tyrion has never shown that same loyalty, but is the final season when he is to join the Lannister army?
Fans have noticed he has been dressing more and more like his father recently and they think this is a clue as to how he is to act from now on.
In the show, costumes represent a lot and reflect a person’s status and personality.
Tyrion, by dressing in a similar way to his father, hints at him finally siding with his siblings in the Battle of Winterfell.
One Reddit user said: “Tyrion left his family to join Daenerys but still tries to dress like his father. As far as I know, Jaime left Lannisters and is wearing Stark armour in season eight.
“So Tyrion is still deeply connected to his roots.”
