Sky News presenter Kay Burley snapped at Ian Blackford during a heated row over a second Scottish independence referendum. Burley claimed if Scotland were to opt to join the European Union they would need to adopt the euro, which sparked an explosive row. Mr Blackford said: “The first referendum was in different circumstances.
“We were promised in 2014 that if we stayed in the United Kingdom then our rights as EU citizens would be respected.
“It looks at the moment like we are going to be dragged out of our will.
“I believe that Scotland has changed, I believe that Brexit has changed everything.
“The argument we will have will be one about protecting the economic interests of the people of Scotland.”
