Emmerdale actor Mark Charnock, 50, is set to air in some dramatic scenes on the ITV soap Emmerdale but last month his character Marlon Dingle got to enjoy some time away from The Dales as he excitedly planned his honeymoon in Belfast with his partner. However, Marlon didn’t enjoy Northern Ireland quite as much as he’d hoped – despite being on honeymoon with new wife Jessie. Speaking to the TV Times about filming the episodes, Mark spilled: “They are there because Marlon remembered that Jessie’s favourite film is Titanic and he takes her to the Titanic museum in Belfast. “We even did some filming in front of City Hall in Belfast, which felt very special.”

The ITV soap was set in Belfast because the newlyweds had travelled there for their honeymoon but to Marlon’s dismay they were joined by Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) and Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton), which made the trip somewhat less romantic.
It appeared Paddy was hoping to bond with his biological dad - a wrestler called Bear Wolf and Kerry was there to track down her daughter Amy.
Meanwhile, Jessie and Marlon who got married at Christmas planned to go away and have a ‘mini-moon’.
