Chris Evans reveals shock 'issue' which could halt Strictly appearance

Chris Evans has revealed he has a problem with his left meniscus, a rubbery cartilage between the knee joint, and may not be able to participate in the next series of Strictly Come Dancing due to the injury. Speaking on his Virgin Radio Breakfast Show earlier this month, the 52-year-old insisted he was not scared of competing on the BBC One series, but is concerned about his knee. The topic came about when he spoke to actor Andrew Garfield, who admitted he is a huge fan of the long-running dance contest and wanted to discuss the show with the DJ. The Spider-Man star spilled: “This is really the reason I wanted to come on and talk to you this morning.

Continuing, Andrew remarked: “But then when I heard you were doing it I thought, ‘Well you have to give the people what they want’."
