Will #Corrie's Roy Cropper LEAVE Weatherfield over the ring mystery?

Coronation Street local Roy Cropper (played by David Neilson) has been wracking his brain in recent weeks as he attempts to figure out where a mysterious ring came from.

The piece of jewellery was inherited from his late mother Sylvia, and has since sparked rumours about Roy having a long-lost sister.

Last month on the show Roy discovered the ring’s inscription, which read: “R.P 01.03.59 Rhea,” and therefore prompted more mystery.

However upcoming episodes may shed some light on the strange situation, as Roy comes into contact with Wayne Hayes (Gary Damer), the young boy he once fostered.

Although this doesn’t really factor in to the widely accepted “long lost sister” theory, at least Roy is a little closer to finding out the truth behind the precious ring.
