Sinead (played by Katie McGlynn) avoided her cancer treatment as she was worried about the effect it would have on her unborn baby. Baby Bertie was born prematurely earlier this year on Coronation Street and he’s been in hospital ever since because of his early birth. However, the good news is that spoilers have shown the infant will be returning to the street with his mother and father, Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard). But according to Sinead actress Katie, the character is quietly terrified about the whole situation on the ITV soap. "She is a panicky mum. She is trying to hide her feelings and act normal but she is terrified." While Bertie is home and safe, Sinead’s health is still a cause for concern. Her future is as of yet unclear as it’s not known whether Sinead will survive the disease. So while she’s trying to enjoy her new family, it’s a constant worry for Sinead. The actress added: ”She is trying to put on a brave face but she is terrified, because although she is happy with her family life, it's still in the back of her head. It had been reported by The Sun that to two of them would be dealt a baby bombshell by having quadruplets. However, Gemma actress Dolly-Rose has addressed the rumours on Good Morning Britain this week. Richard Arnold said: “Now young lady, if you do survive there are rumours in the press that you could be holding not one, not two, but three, but four, babies all of which are Chesney’s [Brown] (Sam Aston) I hope, but anything could change in the cobbles.
