The OA is just around the corner and fans of the sci-fi show will surely be enamoured by the continuing story.

However there are still a lot of unanswered questions stemming from season one’s mind-blowing finale.

And this season will most likely bring a lot more questions to fans lips, as the second season brings new characters, to questions, and - crucially - new problems to the mix.

One of the brand new characters is Kingsley Ben-Adir who plays newcomer Karim Washington.

While not a lot is yet known about his appearance in the upcoming series, Kingsley himself is eager to discuss the show, and why the Five Movements are important for both the show, and TV right now.

Fans will know the Five Movements were used in the final scenes of season one, and saved the room full of teenagers when a shooter arrived.

Despite the ending confusing some viewers, the Five Movements can be interpreted in a number of ways.

Whether the viewer believes the routine somehow does change the outcome of certain events or not, it certainly worked in the cafeteria.

But, speaking to Digital Spy, Kingsley explained the supernatural aspect of the show was originally thought up to combat other “overly violent” TV shows.
