Chris Evans, 52, and Gaby Roslin, 54, both fronted the Channel 4 show The Big Breakfast from 1992 and were the first two presenters of the hit morning programme. Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, she opened up about her relationship with the radio DJ all these years on. The presenter divulged: “I was on Chris’ last show on BBC Radio 2 before he went to Virgin and we were talking about that. We were saying we can’t believe people still ask us [about The Big Breakfast]. “It was over 26 years ago that we started it. It’s lovely that people seem to hold us with fondness in their hearts and Chris and I still love each other very, very much. I have so much love and respect for him.”

When quizzed on whether or not fans will ever get to see a revival of the classic 90s show, Gaby spilled it would be “a bit old” nowadays.

She said: “We are not going to go back and do that because that would be a bit old. The house is not even there. Somebody lives in it, I think. I’ve heard that.

“But I think television needs to take more risks these days. I would love to do another risky show again. Who knows?"

Gaby also admitted the importance of chemistry with your co-star and said she and Chris “just got on” from the very first screen test.
