Last year Lindsey Buckingham left Fleetwood Mac having been lead guitarist for 43 years. Since then he’s been replaced by Mike Campbell and Neil Finn, as the band set off on their 2019 world tour. But despite Buckingham’s absence, Fleetwood Mac are still set to make millions from the concerts. According to Billboard, the group will gross around $1.5-2 million per show.
In fact, Fleetwood Mac are set to gross over $100 million from the North American leg of their 2018/2019 tour alone.
The 75-plus date world tour is expected to be one of the top of Billboard’s end of year Boxscore chart.
Fleetwood Mac’s co-manager Carl Stubner said: “When Lindsey left the band, none of us had any expectations good or bad -- it was more about continuing Fleetwood Mac.
“We had about a month to put the tour together and get it on sale, without any assets or pictures of the new lineup. Thankfully, it started doing well from the beginning.”
