The One Show host Alex was left rather flustered as she chatted to guest Valerie Singleton, who previously presented Blue Peter for 10 years.
Matt was keen to find out more about Valerie’s time on the show and in particular, about her collection of iconic badges.
The 41-year-old asked Valerie: “Where do you keep your badge?”
As the 81-year-old went to reply, Alex could be seen looking rather red-faced.
“It sounds so rude,” she laughed before quickly covering her mouth with her hand.
Valerie however remained incredibly professional as she flashed a smile at the presenters.
“I’ve got a lovely big board with loads of badges on it,” she replied.
