THE ONE SHOW continued on BBC One yesterday evening and one moment saw host Alex Jones covering her mouth in shock as she believed Matt Baker had asked one guest a very rude question. PUBLISHED: 09:39, Fri, Mar 22, 2019 | UPDATED: 09:47, Fri, Mar 22, 2019 The One Show host Alex was left rather flustered as she chatted to guest Valerie Singleton, who previously presented Blue Peter for 10 years. Matt was keen to find out more about Valerie’s time on the show and in particular, about her collection of iconic badges. The 41-year-old asked Valerie: “Where do you keep your badge?” As the 81-year-old went to reply, Alex could be seen looking rather red-faced. However, her response only made Alex giggle even more as she tried to remain calm. Last night’s The One Show also saw Matt and Alex chatting to Valeria and fellow guest Lauren Fox about saving money. “We’re going to start by talking about saving,” Alex began.
