Flight passengers can often find the dream start to their holiday scuppered by delays or, even worse, cancellations. The consequent disturbance could mean those set to travel on an aircraft are left waiting for hours at an airport. What’s more, this could mean they are forced to sleep at the transport hub overnight, if the disruptions persist. Yet one particular passenger has found quirky way of getting comfortable no matter how long the delay.
An image of her particular technique has been posted onto Instagram page PassengerShaming, and has since gone viral.
The photograph has more than 8,500 likes at the time of writing.
It shows a female lying on a set of adjacent chairs in the departure terminal.
Clearly preparing herself for a long delay, she has her head and neck positioned on one black chair and her feet and ankles on the one opposite.
This meant there was a big gap in the middle, where the majority of her spine was unsupported.
