Netflix has announced The Politician, its first series from Ryan Murphy, which has a release date in September 2019. Ben Platt leads the cast of The Politician, which also stars Gwyneth Paltrow and Jessica Lange. The Politician, which does not have a trailer from Netflix yet, sees a student running in a cut-throat student body president race.
The Politician Netflix release date is Friday, September 27 at midnight California time.
In the UK, The Politician will be released at 8am on September 27.
All episodes of the Ryan Murphy series will be released at once on Netflix.

The Politician on Netflix will be led by Ben Platt playing Payton Hobart.
Platt is best known for his role in the Pitch Perfect trilogy and has also starred in Meryl Streep film Ricki and the Flash and Ang Lee’s Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk.
The cast will also include Gwyneth Paltrow, who previously appeared in Murphy’s Glee, and Jessica Lange who appeared in Feud and American Horror Story.
