How going on a #cruise can get you Avios points #BA #Travel

British Airways customers can enjoy extra flight perks thanks to a new Avios benefit, which extends to cruise travel. The Avios points scheme is loved by frequent flyers in particular, who spend the rewards on a variety of airline flights and luxury holiday add-ons. The points can not only be spent on flight routes but also additions such as hotels, car hire and days out. Some airline companies such as British Airways offer some flyers easier ways to collect them, courtesy of an Avios credit card.

Great Britain’s flagship airline has now teamed up with World Travel Holdings UK (WTH UK Ltd) to permit BA’s Executive Club members to collect Avios points while taking to the seas on a cruise.

Such points can still be spent on airline travel discounts – despite not actually being collected from flight travel.

They can also be splashed out on a host of cruise treats from WTRH UK’s variety of cruise partners, who include Cruise118, Six Star Cruises and River Voyages.

These span sun-soaked destinations from the Caribbean to across the Mediterranean.

This includes perks such as a cabin upgrade, for 3,750 Avios.
