Number One (played by Tom Hopper) and Number Three (Emmy Raver-Lampman) in the hit Netflix show are as clueless as fans as to if and when their favourite show will return after its huge success in season one.
At the MCM Comic Con Birmingham yesterday, they revealed that they were not fully aware of how big the show had become and they cannot confirm anything about season two.
When asked if they had any news about season two, Emmy replied: “I wish! Call up Netflix.”
It appears the cast are as frustrated with the lack of information on an Umbrella Academy season two, especially with the unexpected global success of the series.

British actor Tom said of the show’s success: “It’s great to see the response from the fans, because that’s a telling sign.
“Until I turned up here today you only get an idea that the show’s doing well with a bit of online chat, and people call you up and say, ‘watched the show man, it’s great.’ But it’s great to see the response from the people and see how excited they are about it.”
Emmy added: “I definitely am shocked. We have no idea because Netflix holds all their numbers really close. But they are very excited.”
Given the show’s huge success, Netflix surely could not miss out on the chance to build on that success.
