Meteorologist Alex Deakin said: “Overall Tuesday will be a cloudier day than Monday. “Tuesday morning will start pretty chilly, particularly across the south with frost in places. “In northern Scotland we will at times see outbreaks of rain.
Mr Deakin said that in northern parts the temperature will start out warmer than southern areas.
He went on to explain that in the south temperatures will start below freezing.
There will be sunny spells across eastern parts of England, but overall there will be more clouds compared to Monday.
Mr Deakin said: “There will be outbreaks of rain over northern portions of the Highlands, the Western Isles and the Northern Isles.
