The latest addition to the expensive makeover of the Grade II listed Frogmore Cottage isn’t cheap. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are to spend £70,459 soundproofing their new home. The staggeringly expensive adaptation may be essential to block out the noise of Heathrow jets flying above.
Meghan, who is an enthusiastic practitioner of yoga, would surely benefit from the peace and quiet considering the 14 flights that pass within a few miles of the home every half an hour.
The soundproofing measures are said to include triple-glazed windows.
