Queen Letizia and King Felipe of Spain are currently on an official visit to Argentina. It’s the first state trip to the country that a Spanish monarch has made in 16 years. The royals arrived in Buenos Aires on Sunday. Last night, the 46-year-old looked spectacular in a custom cocktail dress by Carolina Herrera.
The teal midi dress had a fitted bodice, and billowed outwards.
It had a V-Neck cut, and had been adorned with floral gold detailing.
This particular gown is thought to be a bespoke design, based on a pale grey and gold embroidered silk gown by the designer.
The floor length ready to wear version is currently for sale online for £6,406.16 - although Saks Fifth Avenue are, at the time of writing, offering a discount of $250 (around £189).
The Queen accessorised the look with a gold Carolina Herrera Metropolitan Insignia clutch.
The bag, which is made in Spain, costs £995.
