Maisie said her beloved character will have her first major battle scene in the upcoming season. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, she also revealed that the long-awaited Season 8 will feature “a lot of death". Game of Thrones is well-known for killing off many of its main characters.
The 21-year-old also disclosed that the new season will have a large number of references to the first season.
She said she had to go back an rewatch Season 1 due to the references and wanting to remind herself of her character’s incredible arc.
“After reading the scripts I went back and watched Season 1 again because so much of it refers back to that season,” Maisie explained.
“There are so many scenes that will look similar.
