The incident saw three men taken to hospital following the Old Firm derby after a highly charged encounter at Celtic Park. Police officers taped off Albion Street in the Merchant City area following an incident at around 5pm on Sunday. A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "Three men have been taken to hospital for treatment.”

An eyewitness reported seeing a "horrific mass brawl" involving 15 or more football supporters close to Blackfriars Street which is said to have spilled onto Albion Street.
According to the Scottish Daily record another witness reported that a young Celtic fan was “in a bad way” after being stabbed.
