What Prince Harry has to do FIRST after Meghan Markle gives birth to royal baby

Harry, 34, is set to abide by royal tradition and be the first person to tell the Queen the sex of the baby. Royal historian Kate Williams has said the royal father usually uses an “encrypted phone” to tell Her Majesty the exciting news. In the ITV documentary, Secrets of the Royal Babies: Harry and Meghan, she said: “What normally happens is that there is an encrypted phone that cannot be tapped and he will tell her a girl or boy.”

The royal author added Harry will be extremely relaxed during Meghan’s labour, she joked: “He'll be there doing yoga moves with Meghan.”

Once the royal baby has arrived the Queen will be told the news before any other royal as her majesty is the “head of the family".

Meanwhile it is reported the Duchess of Sussex will shun certain aspects of tradition by not giving birth in the Lindo-wing.
