Harry, 34, is set to abide by royal tradition and be the first person to tell the Queen the sex of the baby. Royal historian Kate Williams has said the royal father usually uses an “encrypted phone” to tell Her Majesty the exciting news. In the ITV documentary, Secrets of the Royal Babies: Harry and Meghan, she said: “What normally happens is that there is an encrypted phone that cannot be tapped and he will tell her a girl or boy.” Related articles When Meghan Markle and Harry will ANNOUNCE the name of royal baby ROYAL SHOCK: KATE MIDDLETON'S horror as she was covered in condoms! However luckily for royal fans the delay will not be as long as in the past, where it took the Queen a month to announce the name of the Prince of Wales. Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said: “In the past a royal birth was announced by placing a framed document on an easel in the forecourt of Buckingham Palace.
