Flybe flights from UK airports including Belfast and Birmingham have been unexpectedly cancelled today for “operational reasons”. The airline took to Twitter to reply to individual passengers who had queried why their route had been scrapped. In response to one passenger, an airline spokesperson wrote: “As advised by my colleagues, this flight was delayed due to a technical issue. “This is the only information that we have available to us.” Flights from other transport terminals, including departures from Southampton, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Newcastle have also been affected, according to the BBC. It advises many of the journeys were within the UK. Express.co.uk has gone to Flybe for comment. All rights reserved for this news site express.co.uk and under his responsibility
