The first trailer for It Chapter 2 still hasn’t arrived, but some lucky journalists have seen some new scenes. CinemeCon is taking place in Las Vegas this week and yesterday’s Warner Bros panel featured a few clips. According to Variety, the footage saw Jessica Chastain’s grown-up Beverly knocking on the door of an old apartment. An old woman answers, and Beverly explains that she’s looking for her father, having noticed the door says Kersh instead of her surname Marsh.
She tells Beverly that her father has died and invites her in, as it’s the least she can do.
However, it soon becomes apparent that all is not right, with the old woman acting oddly and talking about death.
She says: “You know what they say about Derry. No one who dies here ever really dies.”
She goes to the kitchen to make tea but then returns and disrobes while dancing
