A state of emergency has been declared in Iran after at least 26 of the 31 provinces have been hit by heavy downpours that began on March 19. The flooding has so far killed 62 people and has been the worst the country has seen in a decade. The Trump administration is currently in consultations with the importers ahead of a May 2 deadline when the waivers expire.
