Gladiator star Cobra whose real name is Micahel Willson, revealed in a candid interview he was taken to a Kent hospital three weeks ago after he fell seriously ill. The 55-year-old was taken into care after he suffered pneumonia in both lungs and the chest condition pleurisy. The sports entertainer also suffered a massive rupture in his shoulder and can’t raise him arm, according to The Sun. He told the publication: "I'm only half a Gladiator now. It’s been touch and go. I don’t feel like I’m kicking the bucket at the minute, but it will only take another cold or cough and I’m in trouble.
"I’m isolated in my own ward. It goes to show - you never know what’s round the corner."
He was also hospitalised before Christmas with severe acute pancreatitis and now needs two new hips.
