Forecasters have warned the weather will last for five months as 12 to 14 storms will batter the US. The season will run from June 1 through to November 30. AccuWeather Atlantic Hurricane Expert Dan Kottlowski has warned that everyone living on the coast should have a hurricane plan in place.
