#CoronationStreet favourite to overcome HUGE hurdle after harrowing ordeal

Life for Sinead Tinker (played by Katie McGlynn) finally looks to be on the up, as next week she will complete her last round of chemotherapy treatment in her battle against cervical cancer.

The young mum’s cancer journey has been a long and painful one, with the mechanist initially keeping her diagnosis a secret from her partner, Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard).

She discovered she had the disease while she was pregnant with their first child and later shunned doctors advice to undergo treatment out of fear she would harm her unborn child.

Instead, she used alternative therapies but when cancer spread she decided to start her chemotherapy sessions again.
