Game of Thrones is set to return to television screens very soon and fans are desperate to find out who will sit on the Iron Throne.
However, one fan believes it was revealed in season three when Melisandre (played by Carice Van Houtem) tracked down Gendry (Joe Dempsie).
Gendry was with the Brotherhood in season three after fleeing King’s Landing and Melisandre wanted to use him as a sacrifice to help Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dilane).
Unsurprisingly the blacksmith wasn’t too keen to leave with the Red Woman but she appeared to drop a huge clue he would rule Westeros.

Reddit user _cg88 shared an image from season three, episode six which showed her telling Gendry he is more important than usual.
Gendry shouted: “You told me this was a Brotherhood. You told me I could be one of you.”
Melisandre replied: “You are more than they could ever be.
“They’re just foot soldiers in the great war. You will make kings rise and fall.”
Could this be the biggest hint yet that Gendry will sit on the Iron Throne?
