Karen Taylor (played by Lorraine Stanley) may end up dating Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) in what could be one of the most shocking love matches in EastEnders history.
However, for actress Lorraine, it seems like a natural pairing, as she gushed about the potential romance.
Teasing a fling between the BBC favourites, the TV star hinted Karen could be charmed into dating Patrick after sipping on rum.
“He and Karen would share a drop of rum, then she’d have a little dance with him, show off her moves,” she said.
Speaking in an interview with Inside Soap, she added: “I’ve joked about it with Rudolph and he just laughs.”
Concluding, the 42-year-old actress finished: “He’s such a lovely man – I adore him.”
The soap star previously had her eyes on Phil Mitchell, insisting Karen “likes a bad boy”.
Last year, she said: “She likes a bad boy. I’ve always said she might have a bit of a thing for Phil [Mitchell] actually.
“Perhaps if something were to happen between Sharon and Keanu, Karen could have a go on Phil to get back at Sharon."
She continued: “I can see Karen with Billy [Mitchell], as well – but she would just wind him up, wouldn’t she?”
