'It makes me weep' #countryfile host Ellie Harrison opens up on ‘painful’ ...

Countryfile presenter Ellie Harrison, 41, has been a part of the BBC series since 2009, alongside her fellow co-stars Matt Baker and Helen Skelton. Talking about the show, Ellie revealed she suffers from Raynaud’s disease, a condition which can get worse due to cold weather conditions. Raynaud syndrome sends blood vessels into temporary spasm, blocking the flow of blood and turning lips, fingers and toes white, red or purple which is not ideal when presenting outdoors. Ellie told the Telegraph: “The weather is always a hideous challenge, not least because I have Raynaud's [syndrome], which is the cold extremity condition.
