The actor, 28, said he wouldn’t change the struggle he faced during his childhood because they made him who he is today. “After my mum died and all the stuff that happened to me when I was young, I see stuff that happens now as not a big thing,” Jay said.
“If I lose a job or someone says something nasty about me, I don’t care because I’ve been through bigger, much worse things.
“I find it easier to overcome things.
“You’re going to go through bigger things when you lose someone or someone is ill,” the Emmerdale star continued. “People become too focused on the small stuff.
