Holly Willoughby, 38, has fronted the ITV series This Morning with pal Phillip Schofield, 57, for the past 10 years and has revealed her co-star put his “career on the line” for her. The blonde beauty has said the the initial differences in their wages had absolutely nothing to do with the fact she's a woman. In 2017, it was revealed the mother-of-three was set to get a £200,000 pay rise to match Phillip's.
However she said her salary encompassed all her other shows and it could never be compared to her co-host's.
Holly said: "If there was a pay gap, it wasn't just because I was a woman, that wasn't what it was. I think it was that Phil had been there for such a long time."
She also spoke about sexism in the workplace and admitted it was not something she ever experienced in her line of work.
