Holly Willoughby, 38, has fronted the ITV series This Morning with pal Phillip Schofield, 57, for the past 10 years and has revealed her co-star put his “career on the line” for her. The blonde beauty has said the the initial differences in their wages had absolutely nothing to do with the fact she's a woman. It was never an issue

“The first person that will be standing up screaming from the rooftops would be him, and so it was never an issue."

In 2017, it was revealed the mother-of-three was set to get a £200,000 pay rise to match Phillip's.

However she said her salary encompassed all her other shows and it could never be compared to her co-host's.

Holly said: "If there was a pay gap, it wasn't just because I was a woman, that wasn't what it was. I think it was that Phil had been there for such a long time."
