Oti Mabuse, 28, is planning on having children with her husband-of-five-years Marius Lepure, 36, she has said in a new interview. The Strictly Come Dancing professional opened up about her desire to have babies once she is more “settled”, while speaking to this week's OK! Magazine. The star, who is known for her tough training tactics on the BBC show, surprisingly shared that this outlook wouldn’t apply to motherhood. Implying that Marius would be the “strict” parent instead, she divulged: “I’ll be the soft parent, because Marius has very strict views on kids being healthy and how much TV they should watch!”
Although Oti will not be starting a family imminently, she hopes children will certainly be in her future.
She admitted: “We’re not looking for babies right now but eventually, once I’ve settled and we have everything that we want, we’ll definitely have them.
“My sister just had a baby and I can see it doesn’t hold you back. If anything, it’s opened up a new world for her.”
The dancer has also been thinking of potential baby names, looking to her partner’s home country of Romania for inspiration.
She explained: “He loves the name Ava. I like Romanian names like Bogdan, Aswan, or Mihai
“My name isn’t from this country, so I like names like that.”
