Prince Harry opened the doors of his London residence to Oprah Winfrey and her crew to prepare for a new project focused on mental health, the television producer revealed. The Duke of Sussex partnered with Ms Winfrey for a yet-unnamed TV project in which the pair will explore the stigma surrounding mental health in an attempt to shed light on the matter. Following the announcement, the American superstar said the Prince became involved after an interview in which he discussed the help he received to cope with the death of his mother, Princess Diana.

Speaking to CBS News, Ms Winfrey said: "I was having a conversation with him and I asked ‘what do you think are the most important issues facing the world right now?’ And he said there are two. He said climate change and mental wellness, mental fitness.

"He has spoken about his own issue and what he went through after his mother died and how being able to talk about it has benefitted him."

She continued: "We’re doing a multi-part docu-series on mental health and the spectrum. Harry is co-creating this with me and he is executive producing this with me.

"We’ve had several meetings, we’ve had secret meetings in London, I’ve flown there with the crew to sit in sessions to talk about the direction we were going to take."
