The 29-year-old posted two photos of her older sister, Princess Beatrice, to mark national sibling day. One of the pictures showed the two princesses together at Eugenie’s wedding, in October last year. The second depicts Eugenie and Beatrice lying outside together with heads almost touching.
Beatrice accompanied the photos with the caption “to my big sister, your the best especially when helping me and my dress into the getaway car”.
However other social media users were swift to point out a grammatical error had been made, and Beatrice should have written ‘you’re’ not ‘your’.
A number of commentators went on to criticise the Princess.
One said: “Imagine being in line to the throne and not knowing it’s you’re”.
