Star Wars #EpisodeIX title leak ahead of announcement? #StarWarsCelebration

The final movie in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, and the Skywalker saga as a whole, is due in cinemas in December.

The title of it has still not been unveiled, but with Star Wars Celebration’s Episode 9 panel scheduled to take place later today, could that finally be when we get some answers?

It seems we will - and as numerous title rumours do the rounds online, Variety reporter Justin Kroll appears to have dropped a massive hint on what it could include.

Responding to a post on Twitter about the panel, he said: “I really HOPE they reveal the title.”

When a podcaster replied saying he wants a trailer and a title reveal, Kroll added: “I just HOPE both happen for you and @RobbieBarstool [colleague].”

Needless to say, this has been taken as a big sign that the word “Hope” appears somewhere in the title.

Sure enough, multiple rumours over recent months have included the word, not least because the first ever Star Wars movie back in 1977 was titled A New Hope.

Spark Of Hope has been touted as one possibility, for example: it was in The Last Jedi’s title crawl, much like The Last Jedi was in The Force Awakens’ title crawl.
