Game of Thrones returns for its eighth and final season this weekend on HBO and Sky Atlantic, and there's only six episodes to go.

And the first episode is surely going to begin with Sansa Stark (played by Sophie Turner) meeting Jon Snow’s (Kit Harington) new beau.

Although Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) is looking to make a lot of new allies in her upcoming arrival on Westeros, she may not find fast friends in the remaining Stark children.

Sansa actor Sophie recently spoke out about the upcoming conflicts between her character and other members of her family, which may be hinting towards a huge civil war.

Sophie was asked by Entertainment Weekly about Sansa’s upcoming storylines.

And although she couldn’t exactly give everything away, she did her best to shed light what is to come.

She explained: “Sansa this season is very much enjoying becoming a leader in her own right and the leader of Winterfell.

“And this year there are certain challenges of people who come into her life that threaten that.”
