Jay Brown (played by Jamie Borthwick) and Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) have been reconnecting with each other ever since Lola returned to Eastenders with cousin Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) and their daughter Lexi.
The cousins returned to the square with a plan to fleece Ben’s dad, Phill Mitchell (Steve McFadden) on the BBC soap.
But Lola has been distracted from their mission by feelings for her ex Jay, leaving Ben frustrated.
Ever since Lola returned to the square there has been a lot of speculation over why she decided to come back and on Friday’s episode her true intentions were finally revealed.
The Walford resident is hiding a secret fiancé, which explains why Ben had expressed his concerns at Lola and Jay getting close.
As Lola and Jay spend more time together it’s only a matter of time before he finds out the truth.
And it looks like Ben will be the one to drop the bombshell.
In upcoming scenes Ben is forced to remind Lola that the reason she wanted the money in the first place was to start a new life with her fiancé Evan.
